Job description
Seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive complex, high-visibility technology and security programs across global teams. The TPM will be responsible for managing multiple technical workstreams, aggressive schedules, cross-functional dependencies, risks, and executive-level communication from program planning through product delivery., * Lead complex technology integration and product programs across Samsung’s global engineering and business organizations.
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Develop and manage detailed program schedules and track progress against commitments.
- Coordinate multiple technical workstreams across software engineering, product management, security, and business teams.
- Identify, track, and proactively mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and changes in scope.
- Develop contingency plans and drive timely resolution of critical technical and business issues.
- Establish effective program-management processes to improve planning, execution, and delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across geographically distributed teams and multiple organizational levels.
- Prepare and deliver executive-ready status reports, dashboards, presentations, and program reviews.
- Clearly communicate program health, risks, blockers, dependencies, and escalation items to senior leadership.
- Partner with engineering and product teams throughout the complete product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch.
- Drive accountability and execution across teams while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical program management experience with excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills. This role requires the ability to influence engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders across multiple geographies without direct authority.
Fluency in English and Korean is required., * 5 7+ years of Program Management / Technical Program Management / Project Management experience within high-tech, software, mobile, semiconductor, electronics, or technology organizations.
- Fluent in both English and Korean with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technology programs with multiple workstreams.
- Strong experience with program planning, scheduling, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive reporting.
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence or comparable program/project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related documentation/reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
