Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in Java J2EE, PySpark/Spark, AWS, and ETL/streaming data pipelines. The ideal candidate will develop and support scalable, resilient cloud-based applications in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java J2EE applications and data pipelines.
Build and support ETL and streaming pipelines using PySpark/Spark.
Work with AWS services including SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
Apply Agile, CI/CD, TDD, security, and resiliency practices.
Troubleshoot and improve application and pipeline performance.

Requirements

4-5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Java J2EE development experience.
Hands-on experience with PySpark/Spark and ETL/streaming pipelines.
Strong Python or Java programming skills.
Experience with AWS SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, security, and application resiliency.
Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
