Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization’s SQL databases and applications. As a SQL Developer, you will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our database systems and optimize their performance., Collaborate with the IT team to identify database requirements and design efficient solutions
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions to support business operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Monitor database systems and implement necessary updates and patches
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Create and maintain documentation for database systems and processes
- Train and support end-users on database usage and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SQL development to suggest improvements for our database systems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in SQL development and database management
- Proficient in SQL programming and database design principles
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Familiarity with healthcare data and HIPAA regulations is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
