Job description

Our client is a higher education institution who is seeking a detail-oriented Data Migration & ERP Project Analyst to support faculty data migration, validation, and Workday implementation activities. This role will partner with the Office of the Provost, Institutional Research, Procurement, and project stakeholders to ensure data integrity, support ERP process mapping, assist with system testing, and maintain project documentation throughout the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday., * Extract, organize, validate, and reconcile faculty and administrative data across multiple systems.

  • Support data migration, data cleanup, and quality assurance activities for ERP implementation.
  • Document discrepancies, maintain audit trails, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with procure-to-pay workflow analysis, requisition routing, and business process documentation.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test script development, scenario testing, and results documentation.
  • Coordinate project milestones, meetings, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
  • Research system functionality, workflow improvements, and emerging tools, including AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Collaborate across departments to support change management and adoption of Workday processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with ERP systems and/or Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Strong Excel, data management, validation, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, contracts administration, or related functions.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience supporting testing, process improvement, or data migration initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ERP implementation experience.
  • Workday Financials (Procure-to-Pay or Strategic Sourcing) experience.
  • PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration experience.
  • Experience with R, SQL, PeopleSoft HCM, Workday HCM, Interfolio, or higher education systems.
  • Higher education and institutional research experience.
  • Familiarity with faculty personnel, appointment, promotion, and tenure data management
