Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Field Services Technician II to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive onsite IT support across multiple Lifespark Senior Living sites, ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, and delivering exceptional end-user support. The successful candidate will be responsible for going onsite to multiple sites for network upgrades, creating detailed documentation, and assisting users with technical issues. A company car or mileage reimbursement will be provided to facilitate travel between sites.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

  • IT Support for Multiple Sites: Provide on-site and remote IT support to all Senior Living sites, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and addressing any technical issues promptly.

  • Network/Hardware Upgrades: Provide on-site support for network and hardware upgrades. This includes laptops, tablets, phones, routers, switches, and other devices as necessary.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, IT procedures, and troubleshooting guides to ensure consistency and ease of access for the IT team and end-users.

  • Travel: Utilize the company car or personal car with reimbursement to travel between sites as needed, ensuring timely support and maintenance of IT systems.

  • Projects: Participate in projects as assigned.

Requirements

Any ideal candidate will have…

  • Certifications: A+ and Network+ Certification, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Travel: Ability to travel daily; occasional overnight stays required for sites located 4+ hours away

  • Experience: 3-5 years of technical support experience

  • Technical Proficiency:

o High proficiency with Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite

o Familiarity with identity management platforms such as Azure AD and Okta

o Ability to install and configure technical equipment, including printers, switches, wireless access points, and other hardware

  • Adaptability: Strong ability to learn, adopt, and maintain emerging technologies

  • Communication: Effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff, * Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
