Job description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support a large hospital system as they modernize their IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities through a Salesforce implementation. This individual will play a key role in leading product strategy, gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and driving the successful design and rollout of a new Salesforce environment supporting enterprise IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong product management background, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience working with technical and operational teams within complex enterprise environments. Prior experience with ITSM, CMDB, or IT operations workflows is highly preferred.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT leadership, service desk, infrastructure, security, application support, and desktop support teams to gather requirements and translate operational needs into product roadmaps and user stories.

  • Lead product planning and execution for the implementation of Salesforce-based ITSM and CMDB capabilities.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing.

  • Define and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and optimize intake forms, routing rules, categorization models, prioritization frameworks, approval processes, and fulfillment workflows.

  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize enhancements, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through implementation, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.

  • Drive change management efforts and support end-user adoption across IT operations teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Product Owner leading enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise software implementations or digital transformation projects.

  • Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business functions.

  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience leading or supporting the setup and launch of a new Salesforce org within a large enterprise environment.
  • Previous experience working within IT Service Management (ITSM) and/or Configuration Management Database (CMDB) programs.
