Requirements
Do you have experience in RDBMS?, The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is recruiting a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join its Database Administration team as a Database Administrator (DBA). The Information Technology Associate will join one of the most talented and progressive IT shops in California state government and work with the DWR team to support the Department’s Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)., In addition to evaluating each candidate’s relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of system and application database administration
- Strong background in information technology, with relevant knowledge and experience
- Creative thinker with a demonstrated history of applying strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to solving complex problems
- Ability to effectively manage and complete competing workloads and projects in a timely manner
