Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country., Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities and be able to travel 3x/year for 7-10 days at a time.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen, This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) year of systems engineering experience.
- A High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of systems engineering experience.
- A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for three (3) years of systems engineering experience., * Experience with coding Python and Visual Basic for applications
- Strong experience in applying RF theoretical and academic knowledge in EMI testing unintended emissions within HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum
- Familiar with RF tools (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes) and components (amplifiers, filters, isolators, attenuators, terminators, etc.)
- Formulating and documenting test plans
- Draft and issue technical recommendations through formal test reports
- Specify and/or review system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limit.
- Collaborate internal and external agency stakeholders to ensure technical support enables the E3 Program and customer mission requirements
Desired Skills:

- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
