Remote Business Analyst

Realtor.com® is seeking a diligent and analytical Remote Business Analyst to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving the enhancement of our digital platforms, including our innovative My Home dashboard, by translating business needs into effective technical solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a market-leading organisation from a fully remote position. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $28.00 - $58.00 USD, dependent on experience. Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders across the organisation.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, well-defined functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and requirements.
• Analyse and model business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Support the project lifecycle by participating in planning, testing, and deployment activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, requirements specifications, and project reports.
• Conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

• Proven commercial experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an agile, technology-focused environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and creating detailed documentation.
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Desirable:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working within the real estate or property technology (PropTech) sector.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL or business intelligence platforms.
• A professional certification in business analysis (e.g., BCS or IIBA).
