AWF Role: Senior Product Designer Workstream: Unpaid Items Proposed Location: Bellevue, Portland, San Jose Hiring Manager: [TBC] About the team and the role: The UPI Design team is part of eBay’s Core Design organization and partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to shape the end-to-end experiences across eBay’s site and app. We focus on leading the industry with innovative, scalable, and accessible design patterns, with performance-minded UX to measurably improve Trust, ease-of-use, and successfully purchase conversion. You’ll contribute to critical verification experiences by delivering high-quality designs with velocity, and help the team innovate on everyday interactions by millions of people across eBay’s global marketplace. This team prioritizes an inclusive and thriving creative culture, the highest levels of craft, and joyful work/life harmony-so you’ll have clear priorities, a structured multidisciplinary design process, and the support to do your best work. What you will accomplish:

• Individually contribute to the design of end-to-end verification experiences for eBay guests and members
• Independently lead the design of high-value payments solutions through the development and experimentation process
• Identify and contribute to Unpaid Items continuous improvement workstreams
• Deliver design iterations to support experimentation with new verification interactions, for example, identity verification and proof-of-funds experiences
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration by leading regular cross-functional working sessions with stakeholders, incorporating feedback, and creating well-organized design files, prototypes, and presentations to drive alignment
• Design elegant, industry-leading, payments experiences for one of the world’s largest community marketplaces

What you will bring:

• Past success designing and shipping multiplatform product features in Figma for iOS, Android, and web
• Past success quickly forging strong cross-functional relationships, working directly with developers and product managers on product designs
• Craft: a high level of interaction design craft and a commitment to delivering your best work
• Leadership: experience navigating ambiguous and/or complex environments, to reach the best design outcomes

• Ability to work onsite in San Jose (preferred) or San Francisco 3 days per week
• 8+ years of professional design experience
• Preferred: bachelor or master’s degree in Design, related field, or commensurate expertise
