Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer / Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement an end-to-end event-driven data processing pipeline on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong Python and AWS experience and will be responsible for building scalable, resilient, and production-ready solutions that process configuration-based messages, orchestrate data workflows, and integrate with downstream services running on AWS.

Requirements

Required

  • Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
  • Strong experience with AWS services, including:

  • Amazon EKS
  • AWS Lambda
  • Amazon API Gateway
  • Amazon SQS
  • Amazon S3
  • AWS event-driven architectures and event triggers
  • Experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and kubectl for cluster management and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience building and supporting scalable, resilient cloud-based applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Others

  • Experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting applications across Development, UAT, and Production environments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building and operationalizing a modern, event-driven AWS platform that enables scalable data processing and seamless integration across multiple environments.
