Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of software systems and applications. This role is designed for early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience while receiving structured training, mentorship, and professional development through the Brooksource Elevate Program.

What You’ll Do

· Assist in developing and enhancing software applications and system capabilities

· Support testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure reliable performance

· Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with guidance from senior engineers

· Contribute to debugging, maintenance, and improvement of existing software

· Document processes, updates, and technical solutions

· Collaborate with team members to support project goals

Do you have experience in Software coding?, · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or related field

· Foundational knowledge of software development concepts

· Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++)

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Effective communication and willingness to learn

What You Bring - Preferred

· Internship, co-op, or 1-2 years of related experience

· Familiarity with development tools, testing, or debugging
