Job description
Seeking for an Software Testing & Quality Engineer to support software quality assurance, requirements analysis, customer acceptance testing, production validation, and test automation initiatives. This role involves analyzing and documenting business requirements, developing manual and automated test scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and maintaining comprehensive testing artifacts. Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business processes, functional requirements, and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents.
- Support functional requirements affecting technical file specifications, including Mail.DAT and Mail.XML.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts.
- Develop test automation using Python, Selenium, AFT, or similar technologies.
- Perform Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct production validation through smoke, functional, and regression testing.
- Document test results and maintain supporting test evidence and artifacts.
- Review Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs) and translate requirements into test scenarios.
- Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and other testing documentation.
- Test and validate data files and formats, including CSV, XML, and JSON.
- Perform data validation against relational databases.
- Develop performance metrics to track and report the status and results of Customer Acceptance Testing.
- Manage and maintain supported technical specifications, guides, and related documentation.
- Participate in industry meetings, forums, workgroups, task groups, and user groups as required.
- Develop training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides for impacted applications.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
Requirements
- Experience eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements.
- Experience analyzing business processes and recommending improvements.
- Experience creating and executing manual and automated test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with automation technologies such as Python, Selenium, AFT, or similar tools.
- Experience performing Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience performing functional, regression, and smoke testing for production validation.
- Experience documenting test results and maintaining comprehensive test artifacts.
- Experience working with CSV, XML, JSON, and relational databases.
- Experience with software test management using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Access, and Workflow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- ISTQB CTAL-TAE, ISTQB CT-AI, or similar certification.
