Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience at minimum with AEM Development.
  • While this is primarily a backend role, the candidate must have some front-end experience for when needed.
  • Local to Boston and has strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), and analytical skills.
  • This individual must be team-oriented and deadline driven
  • Financial services experience is a plus but not required, Technical Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE, including frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including:

  • AEM component, template, and dialog development
  • Apache Sling framework for request-to-resource mapping
  • OSGi for modular bundle development
  • JCR (Apache Jackrabbit Oak) for content repository management
  • HTL (Sightly) for AEM templating
  • AEM workflows for content automation
  • Dispatcher configuration for caching and load balancing

  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs for third-party integrations
  • Familiarity with content authoring, versioning, publishing, and AEM upgrades/maintenance

Frontend & Integration

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support backend-to-frontend integration

DevOps & Deployment

  • Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
  • Experience using Maven or Gradle for AEM builds
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud

Additional / Preferred Skills

  • Integration experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe Campaign
  • Search platform experience (Solr, Elasticsearch)
  • Knowledge of AEM personalization and targeting capabilities

Soft Skills

  • Strong collaboration skills across developers, designers, and content authors
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Effective time management in a fast-paced environment
