Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled SharePoint Engineer for a six month, remote role. In this role, you will be responsible cleaning up an existing enterprise-level SharePoint environment, streamling workflows, and supporting organizational objectives., * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.

Manage system administration tasks including site provisioning, user permissions, content management, and troubleshooting.
Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and custom scripting to enable seamless data flow.
Implement and maintain security protocols such as firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to protect sensitive information.
Optimize system performance through load balancing, caching strategies, and infrastructure tuning within cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
Support DevOps practices by automating deployment processes.
Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, * Proven experience in solution architecture and systems engineering within enterprise IT environments.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online/On-Premises administration including site configuration and content management.
Expertise in system design involving operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, T-SQL, PL/SQL for customization and automation tasks.
Familiarity with database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle for data integration purposes.
Hands-on experience with network protocols (DNS, DHCP), computer networking concepts (load balancing, VPN), and security measures (firewalls).
Knowledge of modern development methodologies such as Agile or SDLC frameworks to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams effectively.
