Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Expert SharePoint Manager to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level SharePoint solutions in a classified environment. You must have TS/SCI eligibility to apply. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of system architecture, solution design, and IT infrastructure to optimize collaboration platforms and ensure seamless integration with various enterprise systems. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions that enhance productivity, security, and user experience across the organization.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions using Service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and microservices frameworks.
  • Design and implement system integrations utilizing APIs, RESTful services, and other web technologies to connect SharePoint with external systems such as Pegasystems, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Manage system administration tasks including user access control, security configurations (firewalls, VPNs), load balancing, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and streamline operations in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture diagrams, SDLC processes (Software Development Life Cycle), and configuration management using tools like Git and Jenkins.
  • Support DevOps practices by establishing CI/CD pipelines for deploying updates efficiently while minimizing downtime.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Extensive experience with SharePoint administration and solution architecture across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including RAID controllers, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network protocols like TCP/IP.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Python; familiarity with RESTful APIs for system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi and Azure Virtual Machines; expertise in containerization using Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of operating systems including Windows Server and Linux distributions; system design for high availability and scalability.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Microsoft SQL Server; database management skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices covering information security protocols-firewalls, VPNs-and data encryption standards.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies; proficient in SDLC processes to ensure quality delivery of solutions.
  • Ability to develop scripts for automation tasks using Bash or Shell Scripting; familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git for version control.
