Requirements
This system processes terabytes of new data, made up of real-world video and image analysis every day. The team require an extra person with strong commercial experience of solving performance issues in both Python and C++. As the Software Developer you will have excellent real-time techniques built up over several years of working on complex high performance platforms. This may have been from work with GPGPU technologies (e.g. CUDA).
This will be combined with a solid understanding of software development principles and approach. You will have a comprehensive commercial work experience with Linux as both a development and runtime OS. Fundamentals can be backed up by excellent grades and a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university.
You may have developed cloud applications and have exposure to working with Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. However these are things you can pick up on the job, so not essential.
