Machine Learning Developer

This client seeks a Machine Learning Developer with experience of designing and developing using Deep Learning and Convolutional Neural Networks.

The client’s existing AI engine is built on machine learning technology and used by law-enforcers to detect and combat serious crime. This new role is to join a small team working on new research and development of their classifier, using state-of-the-art techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of the theoretical fundamentals of machine learning and be able to use new approaches to develop these techniques.

As the Machine Learning Developer, you will work alongside colleagues to research, design, implement, train, verify and deploy machine learning systems. The ideal candidate has been a researcher in machine learning and gone on to apply the techniques commercially.

• Strong academic background (preferably a postgraduate degree as well as a relevant first degree from a highly-ranked university)
• Demonstrable knowledge of research into and implementation of machine learning techniques within a commercial setting
• Excellent communication skills with evidence of taking the initiative
• Solid programming skills in Python
