Machine Learning Developer

With a successful mathematical modelling toolkit already helping customers, this growing London-based company are adding GPT-powered AI features to their software, and are seeking to recruit a Machine Learning Developer to help them bring their plans to fruition.

The role will involve developing new functionality based on transformer models, or other AI techniques in order to increase ease of use, as well as to add additional capabilities to the mathematical toolkit itself. As their software is heavily Java based, you will need to be confident in this language as well as having strong mathematical aptitude., * An excellent academic background in computer Science, mathematics, or similar subject with a 1st or 2.1 STEM degree from a very highly ranked university (Russel Group or equivalent), and a relevant master’s degree

• Experience in developing software based on transformer models, including a thorough understanding of the technical details and underlying principles of AI
• Demonstrably strong coding skills in Java
• A solid understanding of software engineering practice - version control, code reviews etc. Commercial coding experience would be valued but is not essential
