You’ll be working in a fast paced, test driven environment; you won’t be picking up after developers, rather you’ll be applying your own initiative to seek out and explore potential issues. It’ll be up to you how best to track them down: if you can really cover everything entirely through API testing, or through a mix of automated and manual testing, both are acceptable.

As a vital member of the development team, you’ll also play a key role in scoping projects, advising stakeholders, and looking for areas of risk.

Along with excellent and relevant qualifications, you’ll have commercial experience which demonstrates your suitability. You’ll have kept up with the latest developments in applications for the web and you’ll have worked in this field on some great applications rather than web sites.
