Requirements

A strong Computer Science background needed for this Java Development role

This company specialise in developing configurable software for modelling and optimising complex systems. Due to their continued success, they are seeking a bright software engineer to join their development team. You would be creating high quality scalable software, allowing end users to build dependable models for streamlining their business.

You will need:

An excellent academic background, with a 1st or 2.1 in Computer Science or a similarly applicable discipline from a well-respected university (Russell Group or overseas equivalent)
Coding skills in a modern OO language, preferably Java, but C#, C++ or JavaScript may also be considered.
Full right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.

Commercial experience would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a small friendly company, located close to central London. A competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate. This role might appeal to a recent graduate with a strong academic grounding in Computer Science and some extracurricular projects to demonstrate their interest in software engineering as a career, but applications from suitably qualified established software engineers are equally welcome.
