Job description

Their growth plans include recruitment for a Senior Front-End Developer who will play a technical lead role to build further software products around Vue.js and RESTful APIs for ML and NLP based applications. Key responsibilities will include contributions to overall technical design and delivery, participation in code reviews (raising the overall code quality), breaking down projects for task estimation and ensuring the software is consistently world-class in quality and performance.

Requirements

As well as a degree in computer science or similar, you will have demonstrable commercial experience with front-end development using Vue.js.
You’ll be competent with a range of front-end technologies including JavaScript and HTML.
You’ll understand how to incorporate UI/UX into code.
Past projects will include interactive data visualisations for web applications.
Additional experience with backend development (Python or Django), and / or Kubernetes would be desirable.

The role does not require previous project experience with Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing, but an interest in these areas would be needed. Any exposure to technologies in these areas would be beneficial.

As members of the team are spread across different sites, good communication skills and experience in how to manage your time efficiently are important.
