Job description

This role will test your skills as you develop complex web applications that are used around the world by a highly technical and demanding userbase. These web apps integrate data from multiple services and support advanced user workflows each providing unique challenges to the design. You will work in a team solving these challenges, creating the high-quality UI and UX that their users demand.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable commercial experience developing single-page applications using a modern JavaScript framework (ideally Vue.js).
  • Good understanding of the technical challenges involved with writing component libraries to be reused both in future projects and by different teams.
  • Familiar with software engineering best practices including git version control and testing suites as well as specific frontend best practices such as CSS naming conventions and an understanding of cross-browser compatibility.

You will be working within a successful and growing multi-national company which is a leader in its industry. You can work entirely remotely or full-time in their Cambridge office, however a hybrid work pattern is not possible.

Keywords: JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuex, Pinia, Vue Router, React, Angular, UI/UX, SPA, HTML, CSS, SCCS, SASS, BEM, Git
