Requirements

In this lead or senior role develop the core web tech powering the latest AI tools for innovators. Building on your existing Python / Django skills and potentially React / Vue, working alongside AI engineers will allow you to grow your skillset into this field.

This mid-sized company have been uniquely building around NLP and ML technology for years and the latest advances have proven and enhanced their offering. Their smart, relaxed technical team span Cambridge, London and Europe. They maintain the pioneering innovation of a startup whilst having an established client base, strong track record and a lean, switched-on management style.

Your CV will demonstrate:

  • Significant Python, ideally Django, software engineering of modern app backends.
  • Minimally SQL database skills, ideally ElasticSearch or other NoSQL, and Redis.
  • An appreciation of modern commercial software development practices.
  • A good degree in a technical subject and strong A-levels or equivalent.

Ideally you will also have worked with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React as well as D3.js. You may be back end or full stack developer. If you have an interest in technical leadership, and/or have prior experience, that is a plus. AWS / Azure and container experience is beneficial. Hybrid work 2-3 days per week from Cambridge or London.
