The challenge includes building new cloud native applications and scalable infrastructure that will allow for rapid growth in the userbase and significant increases in system efficiency. This could include working on 3D visualization, intent-based API design, AI and ML powered search capabilities, stateful and stateless servers, as well as Git-style design version storage.
The type of person who will excel in this leadership position will be a proactive life-long learner, with an eye for the big picture. Their career is likely to be backed by a good technical degree, such as Computer Science or Physics and they will be comfortable working to the highest professional standards. They will enjoy taking on technical challenges and empowering their team to come up with their own innovative solutions. They will have the determination, flexibility and resilience to overcome challenges and see a task through to a successful conclusion. And they will have excellent skills in communication and leadership, as may be proven by past success in a commercial setting.

- AWS, (e.g. EC2, ECS, RDS) and containers via Docker and Kubernetes
