Cloud DevOps Engineer

This top Cambridge software house produce a high-end online suite of tools for data visualisation. They are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team, to work on the infrastructures which supports their products, servers and development process. This is a role for someone with fresh ideas and an interest in the cloud, the web and automation, who can take the initiative and improve development processes., The role will involve cloud administration, including monitoring and improving server performance and security, and supporting developer build processes, CI/CD and increasing automation. You’ll take the initiative to try out new technologies, tools and resources to improve efficiency.

• A good degree in computing or a related subject from a top university, and strong A-level grades
• Commercial experience in a similar role or as a software developer with relevant responsibilities
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and AWS and/or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6 onwards), modern JS build pipelines (cf. WebPack), and ideally node.js
