Requirements

Demonstrable project experience of Machine Learning and computational statistics combined with strong coding proficiency (including open source libraries). Programming experience with C++ or C# would be ideal.
Demonstrable industry experience with typical Data Science languages (Python, R) with commercial project experience manipulating large datasets. Any exposure to business intelligence visualisation tools (such as Tableau) or data frameworks (such as Hadoop) would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills (you’ll not only work on complex data, you’ll also present and talk about projects to both technical and non-technical audiences).

It is expected that interested candidates will be degree qualified (Computer Science, Maths or Physics), and possible hold advanced degrees.

Remote interviews can be held straight away. Joining candidates are expected to be able to work at their Edinburgh offices (under COVID-19 secure conditions).
