Job description

As a Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence at RXO , you’ll support logistics analytics and data engineering initiatives by acquiring, transforming and analyzing complex operational datasets used to support transportation planning, supplier shipments, network visibility and reporting. You’ll collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support enterprise platform integrations and help ensure logistics data is structured, validated and ready to support business decision-making.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Acquire, validate, and integrate logistics data from internal systems and external sources to support analytics and reporting initiatives
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries within enterprise SQL Server environments to support operational reporting and analytics solutions
  • Transform and structure logistics datasets to support transportation tools, dashboards, and system integrations
  • Support implementation activities related to enterprise logistics platforms, including transportation management and visibility solutions
  • Prepare and validate logistics master data required for system integrations and platform transitions
  • Develop dashboards and analytics tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
  • Analyze transportation and supplier shipment datasets to identify trends and support operational decision-making
  • Support network visibility initiatives through structured data preparation and reporting enhancements
  • Assist with data governance and data quality improvement efforts across logistics datasets
  • Collaborate with system engineers, operations stakeholders, and analytics teams to support platform transitions and reporting enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in data engineering, database administration or analytics roles
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex query development and optimization
  • Experience working with large operational or supply chain datasets
  • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
  • Experience supporting data transformation and ETL-related processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience working with supply chain, logistics or transportation datasets
  • Experience supporting transportation management systems or visibility platforms
  • Experience working with automotive OEM logistics data environments
  • Familiarity with EDI transactions or logistics messaging standards
  • Experience working with Python or cloud-based data platforms

Benefits & conditions

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
