Job description
- Shape user interaction with critical applications for researchers, safety staff, and administrators.
- Provide UX and UI design for web application development teams in an agile environment.
- Own design for assigned product areas, ensuring a unified user experience across applications.
- Deliver wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed, developer-ready design specifications.
- Contribute to a shared design system and ensure accessibility, design, and branding standards are met.
- Plan and conduct usability evaluations and user research to inform and validate design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
- Three or more years of experience designing user interfaces for responsive web applications (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Proven experience creating user-centric web applications combining aesthetics, usability, and ADA compliance.
- Proficiency with Figma for interface design, including components, auto-layout, and shared libraries, plus familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end behavior to effectively collaborate with engineers.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for product owners and project teams.
