Senior Java Software Engineer (Spanish language)

In this role, you will contribute to building a simulation and prediction platform for a global fashion retailer operating across 200+ online and 90+ offline markets. You will help design solutions that enable better decision-making for distribution center capacity, reducing risks of overstock and inventory gaps through data-driven insights., * Develop backend features for a complex platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliable real-time predictions

• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA specialists, and stakeholders to align on requirements, architecture, and delivery priorities
• Build and maintain microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem, ensuring clean architecture and efficient data processing
• Implement and maintain integrations with messaging systems, APIs, and data storage solutions
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and E2E testing, applying best practices and testing tools
• Contribute to technical decision-making, documentation, and continuous improvement of system design and development processes

• Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, relational databases, and Mongo
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems, REST APIs, and OpenAPI standards
• Good knowledge of testing tools and practices
• Familiarity with tools such as Maven, Webpack, Grafana, GrayLog, and SonarQube
• Understanding of design principles, including SOLID, GRASP, and domain-driven design
• Experience with microservices, real-time data processing, and scalable application design
• Strong communication skills, ability to estimate work, document decisions, and collaborate in Agile environments
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level for effective communication with global teams
• Fluent Spanish proficiency for effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders
