Job description

To provide technical assistance to the District and its staff in the utilization and implementation of technology, including learning platforms and applications., Manage technology access for faculty, staff, and students. Maintain ongoing dialogue with District administrators on District and building use and implementation of technology, learning platforms, digital applications, and cybersecurity. Collaborate with the technology team to troubleshoot issues, address questions, and oversee the implementation of projects. Provide consultation for teachers, administrators, and support staff to assist with problems and concerns that arise related to educational applications. Serve as liaison with technology vendors, service providers, and related professional organizations, including successful onboarding and launch of new technology. Maintain and supervise the District’s web page. Work alongside other specialists and assist in state reporting data collection. Manage the student information system in collaboration with the school administration. Coordinate transitions between academic years, ensuring successful rollover, rostering, and implementation of applications and platforms for the new academic year. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in technical support, educational technology, and/or application support. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in education or direct experience working in educational environments. Comfort in data-driven decision-making., Technology integration expertise Data-driven decision making Training and development Collaborative working Communication to non-technical audiences Proactive and responsive to technological needs, Requires the ability to sit up to 8 hours per day with intermittent occasional walking, standing, bending, and squatting. Requires the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading. Occasionally required to lift or carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment at a minimum of 35 pounds.

Benefits & conditions

Standard office and school conditions - Moderate noise level in the work environment, adequate lighting, and comfortable temperatures. The work schedule consists of a minimum full school day, with occasional nights and weekends. Occasional high to moderate levels of stress.

SALARY: $60,000-$65,000 Per education & experience
