VMware Systems Administrator

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance. \n
• High School diploma or equivalent. \n
• Security Plus (or equivalent) certification. \n
• 3 years of of System Administration experience. \n
• Experienced in VMware VDI administration. \n
• Proficiency in VMware Horizon View and related VDI technologies. \n
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices. \n
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory. \n
• Knowledge of storage solutions, SAN/NAS technologies, and networking. \n
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \n
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. \n

• Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View environments. \n
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance. \n
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy virtual desktops, manage pools, and provide end-user support. \n
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and stability. \n
• Develop and implement VMWare best practices and security protocols. \n
• Create and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, policies, and procedures. \n
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing VDI-related inquiries and issues promptly. \n
• Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needs. \n
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to and virtualization. \n
