Job description

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, applying object-oriented principles and design patterns consistently;
Implement infrastructure-as-code components using Terraform to support scalable and repeatable environments;
Build and evolve event-driven integrations using Kafka;
Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration), applying TDD and shift-left testing practices;
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and workflows using Git-based version control and automation;
Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments, supporting reliability and performance;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java backend development;
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and common design patterns;
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation;
Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/shift-left practices;
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD concepts and workflows;
Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures;
Experience working with Kubernetes in development and/or production environments;
Experience with GraphQL Federation;
Knowledge of Azure Cloud;
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
