Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications.

Develop robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
Build and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
Implement automated unit and integration testing.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong programming experience in Java 8/11/17+.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
Extensive experience developing Microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services and API development.
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience with Git and source-control management.
Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
