We are supporting a mission-driven UK organisation with the appointment of a Salesforce Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist technology team and play a key role in the continued development and optimisation of a complex, multi-cloud Salesforce environment.
The platform supports critical operational, fundraising, people and partnership functions, so this role offers the opportunity to work on a genuinely mission-critical system while contributing to an organisation making a meaningful difference in people’s lives., As Salesforce Administrator, you will design, configure and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, working closely with Architects, Developers and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions., * Designing and optimising declarative Salesforce solutions, particularly using Flow Builder.
- Managing Salesforce security, including permissions, profiles, sharing settings and least-privilege access.
- Owning configuration work from requirements through testing and deployment.
- Supporting sandbox management and Salesforce ALM processes.
- Working with CI/CD and deployment tools such as Gearset or Copado.
- Troubleshooting issues, conducting root-cause analysis and maintaining platform health.
- Reducing technical debt and continuously improving Salesforce configuration.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews and pair/mob administration.
- Maintaining high standards of documentation, testing and configuration quality.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Strong experience with Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, Object Manager, Sharing Settings and Data Loader.
- Good understanding of Salesforce security, governance and sandbox environments.
- Experience with structured deployment/ALM processes and version control concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team.
Desirable:
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience with Nonprofit Cloud, NPSP or Experience Cloud.
- Experience with Gearset, Copado or similar deployment tools.
- Agile/product team experience.
- Charity or not-for-profit sector experience.
