Reporting and Data Management Specialist

We’re looking for a Reporting and Data Management Specialist to join a major utilities programme, building and maintaining management dashboards that give senior stakeholders clear visibility of performance, cost, schedule and risk., * Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for senior management, using whichever toolset best fits the programme (for example Power BI, Tableau, or custom-built web dashboards)

• Manage data flows from multiple source systems, typically covering finance, schedule and risk (for example SAP, Primavera P6, or a risk management platform)
• Design, build and maintain data models that support complex, multi-source reporting
• Ensure data quality, governance and a single source of truth across all reporting outputs
• Automate recurring reporting and support the programme governance cycle

• Strong grasp of data modelling and data structure, with the ability to turn messy source data into something reliable and reportable
• Proven track record of building and maintaining dashboards in a recognised BI or reporting tool, and the confidence to pick up a new one quickly
• Practical data manipulation and querying skills, for example SQL or an equivalent
• Experience pulling data together from enterprise systems on a large programme
• Strong stakeholder management and a genuine eye for detail

Desirable

• Background in project controls, PMO or programme reporting
• Experience in utilities or another regulated infrastructure sector
• Working knowledge of where and how programme data is stored and moved, for example cloud data platforms, warehouses or lakehouse architectures
• Relevant certification in a reporting or data platform
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate development, whether that’s generating code, building dashboard front ends or automating routine analysis
