- Installing and terminating end devices for access control, CCTV, and security infrastructure in a commercial environment
- Programming end devices for access control, CCTV, and security infrastructure in a commercial environment is a plus but not required
- Terminating and installing end devices such as card/badge readers, motion detectors, glass breakers, mag locks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, etc.
- Install equipment and run and pull cable, wiring and conduit.
- Assist in verification of Access Control/CCTV functions by testing equipment, programming, connections, and signals is a plus but not required.
- Assist in identifying and correcting problems so that the system is in full working order before leaving site is a plus but not required.
- Provide operation training to customers of installed equipment and answer any questions is a plus but not required

Perform system programming and integration with burglar alarm, fire alarm, and camera systems is a plus but not required.
Coordinate installation with the site staff, security, departments, and various maintenance and operations trades and miscellaneous duties is a plus but not required.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wiring and circuitry work?, ASA cabling is an expanding integration solutions company located on Long Island, servicing the tri-state area. We are currently seeking highly motivated, dependable, career-minded access control technicians to join our team. Our services include the installation and service of access control systems, network recording systems, low voltage cabling and wiring.
Salary to reflect with Experience
Install Access Control/CCTV, digital recorders systems. Install cabling and mounting equipment for systems.
Test, troubleshoot, repair, program and verify system functions is a plus but not required.
Provide operation training and answer questions while maintaining a professional and courteous customer relationship is a plus but not required., * Requires working knowledge on installing and troubleshooting CCTV. Working knowledge of Access Control, and Intrusion Systems.

- Working knowledge of AC/DC electronic theory, IP network and analog PTZ and fixed cameras. Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks for PC systems and CCTV equipment, fiber optic and CAT-5E cabling a plus.
- Must have the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and or prints
- Able to perform installation of concealed devices and wiring.
- Cat 5/6 Termination, RJ45 Crimping and patch panel punch down.
- Must have the ability to work as a team or alone.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to interact with customers is a plus but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices is a plus but not required.
- Certifications and/or experience with Lenel, S2, Amag, Software House, American Dynamics, Honeywell, GE Ready Key Pro, or Pelco is a plus but not required.
Ability to carry and climb a ladder
Own basic hand tools
Willingness to carry heavy loads as needed
