This onsite Warranty and Technical Services Specialist role serves as a technical expert and primary support resource for distributors, channel partners, and field technicians across North America. You act as the bridge between the factory and the field by diagnosing equipment issues, identifying appropriate replacement parts, processing warranty claims, and guiding customers through complex troubleshooting situations. This position is ideal for someone with a hands-on background in industrial maintenance, HVAC, field service, rotating equipment, or electromechanical systems who wants to transition from field work into a customer-facing technical support role.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical support contact for distributors, channel partners, and field technicians throughout North America.

Act as the liaison between the factory and the field, ensuring clear communication and accurate technical guidance.

Diagnose equipment issues by reviewing symptoms, operating conditions, and electrical schematics.

Identify and recommend appropriate replacement parts and components based on technical specifications and field conditions.

Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.

Support customers through complex troubleshooting situations by providing step-by-step guidance and solutions.

Interpret and explain electrical schematics, control circuits, and system layouts to field personnel and customers.

Provide technical support for motor controls, contactors, relays, starters, and control panels.

Assist in troubleshooting issues related to VFDs and industrial control systems.

Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues encountered in field or plant environments using systematic diagnostic approaches.

Use computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and Office 365, to document cases, track warranty claims, and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve recurring issues and improve product support.

Participate in ongoing training to build deep knowledge of compressor systems and related equipment.

Contribute to knowledge sharing within a small technical support team by documenting best practices and common solutions.

You receive extensive, structured training on compressor systems and related products, with a clear learning path over the first several months. The role offers a stable, onsite setting where you can leverage your hands-on technical background while developing strong customer-facing and technical support skills., You work onsite as part of a collaborative technical support team that partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality functions. The environment emphasizes teamwork, open communication, and knowledge-sharing, with a small group structure that allows for direct support and mentorship. You use computer systems daily, including Microsoft Excel and Office 365, and interact regularly with industrial equipment concepts such as air compressors, motor controls, and industrial control systems. Extensive training on products and compressor systems is provided, with an expected learning curve of approximately six months before you handle calls independently. The role is office-based technical support rather than field-based work, with a professional setting and no specific dress code details provided.
Requirements

Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in industrial, HVAC, field service, rotating equipment, or electromechanical environments.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
