Job description

Engineered Corrosion Solutions is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide high quality virtual technical support to our customers. This role focuses on troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication.

You will act as a key point of contact for customers, helping resolve issues quickly and accurately. You will also support internal teams by documenting service activity and helping coordinate field service when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high touch virtual support through phone, video, and other communication tools
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes using drawings, procedures, and customer input
  • Process customer calls, documentation, and orders with accuracy and speed
  • Keep accurate records of service activities in Salesforce
  • Communicate customer issues and repair needs to the Customer Support Manager
  • Perform in-house repair and maintenance on service equipment
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Field Service Technicians as needed
  • Help coordinate field service visits when stepping in for the Technical Support Coordinator
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and help build new processes with other teams
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service

Travel

  • No regular day-to-day travel required. Travel is required during the first 90 days for training and periodically for refresher training
  • Company vehicle provided for training related travel

Requirements

Do you have experience in Video communication?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Organized and detail oriented

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service mindset and relationship skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with Salesforce is helpful but not required
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and wiring schematics
  • Working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems
  • Willingness to continue learning and developing skills
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation every 4 to 6 weeks
  • Alignment with ECS core values, * High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical program completion or relevant military experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of customer support or technical service experience. Ideal candidates have both

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
