Job description

The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization’s ERP and digital systems roadmap, with a primary focus on Epicor Kinetic across both cloud and on-premise environments. This role contributes directly to core manufacturing and operational functions, including product development, production scheduling, materials management, supply chain, and finance. It offers hands-on involvement in ERP rollouts, process improvements, data management, and cross-functional system support.

The Business Analyst - Epicor will support multiple ERP implementations and operational initiatives, including:

  • Rolling out Epicor to additional business units.
  • Training and supporting end-user adoption.
  • Enabling workflows across production, engineering, inventory, materials, and supply chain.
  • Integrating external applications and transforming legacy system data., * Process Flow Design (10%) + Document current-state and future-state business processes. + Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and recommend improvements. * Business Requirements Documentation (20%) + Facilitate Epicor Kinetic module workshops. + Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs). * Data Conversion & Migration (20%) + Prepare and cleanse legacy data for Epicor migration. + Define data mapping and validation rules. * System Testing & Validation (20%) + Develop and execute Epicor Kinetic test plans. + Support UAT and deployment readiness. * System Configuration & Administration (20%) + Configure Epicor company structures and master data. + Support upgrades, maintenance, and release cycles. + Manage customizations including UX, user-defined fields/tables, BPM directives, and REST API integrations. * Reporting & Analytics (10%) + Develop Epicor dashboards and BAQs. + Create and modify SSRS reports. + Support analytics initiatives, including Power BI integrations.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience of the Epicor ERP Analyst: * Strong data analytical skills; SQL experience (queries, stored procedures, views). * Knowledge of relational databases, BAQs, and data extraction. * Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Epicor dashboards, and Power BI. * Project management capabilities including timelines, issue tracking, and escalation. * 1-3 years supporting or implementing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. * Participation in at least one ERP implementation, upgrade, or major module rollout. * Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Experience of the Epicor ERP Analyst: * Epicor Kinetic experience, particularly in production, engineering, purchasing, inventory, materials, finance, and supply chain modules. * Experience supporting customized integrations and order-related workflows. * Familiarity with legacy ERP systems such as Macola, Infor, and MasterTools. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
