Job description
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms centered on Snowflake and AWS. This role will be responsible for defining target-state architectures, leading migrations from SSIS and SQL Server environments, and enabling advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Talend, Streamlit, and Snowflake Cortex technologies, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and governance-driven data platforms. This position requires a blend of architecture leadership, data engineering expertise, AI enablement, and stakeholder engagement.
In this role, you will:
-
Design enterprise-scale cloud data architectures leveraging Snowflake, AWS, Talend, Streamlit, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Cortex Analyst capabilities.
-
Lead migration initiatives from legacy SSIS and SQL Server environments to modern Snowflake-based data platforms.
-
Develop scalable data models, schemas, and architecture patterns optimized for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
-
Define and implement data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, Talend, and AWS services to support batch and near real-time processing.
-
Architect and standardize Snowflake SQL transformation patterns, business rules, data quality controls, and reconciliation frameworks.
-
Design secure data-sharing models, access controls, governance frameworks, and privacy-by-design architectures across Snowflake and AWS environments.
-
Build solution blueprints for Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, and Generative AI-enabled analytics capabilities.
-
Guide the development of Streamlit applications and AI-driven interfaces for business users, analysts, and data consumers.
-
Establish standards for deployment, testing, CI/CD, version control, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence.
-
Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects to align platform roadmaps with business goals.
-
Mentor architects and senior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
-
Ensure compliance with SOX, data governance, security, audit, and regulatory requirements across the data ecosystem.
Requirements
-
12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Cloud Platforms, or Enterprise Analytics solutions.
-
Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, security, and governance.
-
Strong experience migrating legacy SQL Server and SSIS environments to Snowflake and cloud-native data platforms.
-
Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Streamlit, and advanced Snowflake capabilities.
-
Strong knowledge of AWS services supporting data platforms, analytics, integration, and infrastructure automation.
-
Experience with Talend, ETL/ELT frameworks, data ingestion patterns, and large-scale enterprise integrations.
-
Advanced proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts, semantic modeling, and data quality management.
-
Experience designing observability, monitoring, logging, and incident management capabilities for enterprise data platforms.
-
Strong understanding of AI/ML enablement, Generative AI use cases, and responsible AI governance within data platforms.
-
Knowledge of SOX compliance, enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, and audit controls.
-
Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, mentoring, and consulting skills.
-
Snowflake certifications, AWS certifications, or cloud architecture certifications are highly preferred.
