EDI Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise EDI & B2B Integration Architect with deep expertise in US Pharmaceutical EDI, X12, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, ITXA, Azure, Java, Linux, and legacy modernization. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the enterprise EDI/B2B integration architecture for US pharmaceutical business processes. Provide architecture and technical leadership for X12/EDI integrations, trading-partner ecosystems, and B2B workflows. Design scalable, secure, highly available integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and ITXA. Establish architecture standards, design patterns, integration frameworks, and best practices across EDI/B2B platforms. Lead the modernization of legacy EDI and integration platforms toward Azure-based cloud architectures. Evaluate existing integration environments and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and cost optimization. Define integration patterns involving EDI, APIs, file-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and cloud services. Provide technical guidance on Java-based integration components and services. Design solutions that operate effectively across Linux/Unix and cloud environments. Create and maintain high-level architecture, solution architecture, integration, and technical design documentation.

10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, EDI, B2B, or related technologies. Strong expertise in US Pharmaceutical EDI and X12 standards. Extensive architecture and hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. Strong experience with ITXA / IBM Transformation Extender Advanced. Proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud integration solutions. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix platforms and enterprise application environments. Demonstrated experience with legacy modernization, platform migration, and cloud transformation.
