Director of Technology

Our client is looking for a hands-on IT leader to take ownership of a growing, largely cloud-based technology environment. This is a role for someone who genuinely likes being in the mix day to day, not just directing from a distance. You’ll oversee a small team, manage a wide range of systems, and have a direct line to the COO on where technology is headed next., * Administer and manage a predominantly Azure-based cloud environment, including CRM and student information systems

• Oversee Active Directory, a VOIP phone system, and organization-wide print and copier infrastructure
• Manage centralized physical security systems, including alarms and cameras
• Support a learning management system and other smaller technology platforms
• Partner with the COO and a team of 4 to keep IT operations running smoothly across a growing organization

• Hands-on experience administering a cloud-based environment
• Strong working knowledge of Azure and Active Directory
• General familiarity with servers, firewalls, and core IT infrastructure
• Well-rounded background across phone systems, general security, and day-to-day IT operations
• Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity while still contributing at a strategic level
