Job description
- Plan, develop, and deliver hands-on instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
- Develop and deliver in-person instructor-led training programs for individuals and groups of users.
- Apply adult learning principles when developing and delivering customer training programs.
- Plan and develop technical documentation, training videos, and instructional design modules for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
- Develop Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web content, and other technical training documentation.
- Develop video and interactive recorded training materials to support technical processes.
- Use applications such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, and similar tools to support training development.
- Manage training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Use appropriate methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high-quality technical training.
- Communicate with the Contract Manager regarding project plans, status, and updates for each assignment.
- Coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
- Organize and manage time effectively while handling concurrent training initiatives and deadlines.
- Maintain strong customer service standards when interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts.
- Identify user-defined challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Support training initiatives involving Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft SharePoint, and other commercially available or proprietary software applications. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Experience as a technology trainer with proprietary and/or advanced off-the-shelf software applications, such as:
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Copilot
- Microsoft OneNote
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Similar enterprise software applications.
- Experience developing technical documentation.
- Experience developing and delivering in-person instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software.
- Experience delivering customer training programs using adult learning principles to individuals and groups of users.
- Experience using technical applications to support training development, such as:
- Camtasia
- Articulate 360
- Vyond
- Similar training development tools.
- Experience managing training projects from initiation through completion while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Experience using methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high-quality technical training.
- Experience developing technical documentation for commercially available and proprietary software, including:
- Quick Reference Cards
- Quick Reference Guides
- Web content
- Other instructional materials.
- Experience developing video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage concurrent training initiatives and deadlines.
- Demonstrated customer service skills when interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot user-defined challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Copilot
- Microsoft OneNote
- Microsoft SharePoint.
Preferred Skills
- Strong hands-on instructor-led training delivery skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their application to technical training.
- Experience creating engaging, interactive, and user-focused training materials.
- Proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, or comparable training development and multimedia tools.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical processes into clear and easy-to-understand training content.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple training assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with Contract Managers, Subject Matter Experts, users, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
