Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Identity Infrastructure Engineer to design, modernize, and support enterprise identity and access management platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for critical identity services, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Microsoft Entra ID, Virtual Directory Services (VDS), authentication platforms, federation services, and identity synchronization solutions.

You will partner with security, infrastructure, application, and engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient identity solutions that support enterprise-wide initiatives. This position requires strong expertise in identity architecture, security best practices, operational excellence, and strategic technology modernization. What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise identity infrastructure.
  • Architect and support solutions across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity environments.
  • Manage and optimize Virtual Directory Services (VDS), including RadiantOne Virtual Directory Server, to enable directory virtualization, identity aggregation, LDAP federation, and enterprise application integration.
  • Develop and implement secure authentication, federation, and identity synchronization solutions.
  • Drive modernization initiatives to improve scalability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support business-critical identity services.
  • Ensure platform reliability through disaster recovery planning, system resiliency, and operational readiness.
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements by implementing identity governance and security controls.
  • Analyze complex technical challenges and develop long-term strategic solutions.
  • Contribute to enterprise security initiatives and provide technical consultation to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Utilize monitoring and observability tools to maintain service health and operational awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, Identity Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with:
  • Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  • Identity synchronization and federation technologies
  • LDAP and directory services architecture
  • Hybrid identity environments
  • Authentication and access management solutions
  • Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise infrastructure and security environments.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and risk management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RadiantOne Virtual Directory Server or similar virtual directory platforms.
  • Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise identity infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and resilience planning.
  • Experience with cloud identity services and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical strategy.
