Systems Administrator II

Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) at the University at Buffalo is searching for a Systems Administrator II to utilize cutting-edge technologies and their expertise in computing and information systems to develop, manage, and support sophisticated IT services including server and cloud services. They play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of UB, recognized as the top public research university in New York and ranked among the top 40 public universities nationwide. This is a campus-based position with the possibility of hybrid-work., * Provide on-premises and cloud IT system support, including windows servers

• Design and implement new on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure and systems
• Communicate professionally & effectively with teammates, management, peers, colleagues, and university constituents
• Maintain and improve technical and professional knowledge and skills
• Work as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience in a computer/technical field OR master’s degree with one (1) year of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
