Job Specific Duties

  • Conducts discovery with patients, caregivers, clinicians, and operations to understand problems, validate opportunities, and identify unmet needs.
  • Translates strategy into a prioritized backlog (epics/stories) with clear acceptance criteria, dependencies, and release plans.
  • Partners with UX to define journeys, prototypes, usability testing, and accessibility requirements; ensure solutions are intuitive and inclusive.
  • Collaborates with engineering and architecture on feasibility, tradeoffs, technical debt, integrations, and performance/reliability requirements.
  • Defines success metrics (KPIs/OKRs) and analyzes usage statistics, conversion/adoption, and user feedback to guide iteration and optimization.

  • Ensures product decisions and releases adhere to security, privacy, regulatory, and governance standards; partners with compliance and security teams as needed.
  • Manages vendor relationships when applicable (contracts, roadmaps, SLAs) and advocates for enhancements aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Reports roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership; recommends investment decisions based on impact, effort, and strategic fit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (OR) 7 years of related experience
  • 4-7 years of product management experience for digital products, enterprise applications, or I.T. platforms
  • 3-5 years working in regulated environments (healthcare preferred) with security, privacy, and compliance considerations, * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Experience with analytics and experimentation: defining KPIs, usage funnels, adoption metrics, and success criteria.
  • Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes; comfort with ambiguity and iterative delivery.
  • Proficiency collaborating with engineering, UX, and data teams; working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and system constraints.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication; able to align diverse priorities to a shared plan.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and digital patient experience (portals, scheduling, check-in, messaging, telehealth) preferred.
