Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and Snowflake-certified Senior Snowflake Data Engineering Lead to own the technical direction of our Snowflake data platform and AI initiatives. This individual will serve as the organization’s Snowflake subject matter expert, leading architecture, engineering standards, platform modernization, and adoption of emerging Snowflake capabilities including Cortex AI, Agents, Vector Stores, Feature Stores, Snowpark, Streamlit and AI-powered data solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Snowflake architecture, roadmap, and platform strategy.

  • Design and implement scalable solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

  • Build GenAI solutions using Snowflake Cortex, Agents, Vector Stores, and RAG architectures.

  • Develop data ingestion, transformation, governance, and data-sharing frameworks.

  • Drive performance optimization, security, scalability, and cost management.

  • Establish engineering best practices, architecture standards, and governance processes.

  • Mentor Data Engineers, AI Engineers, and Architects while serving as the technical escalation point for Snowflake-related initiatives.

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Snowflake SnowPro Certification (Advanced certifications preferred).

  • 10+ years of Data Engineering experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture and development experience.

  • Experience deploying production-grade GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.

  • Proven leadership experience guiding enterprise data platform initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. * Snowflake Architecture
