Job description

  • Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platform architectures.
  • Define data warehousing standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Architect ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
  • Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing solutions.
  • Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data lakes, APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Optimize platform performance, workload management, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security controls including RBAC, data masking, and row-level security.
  • Establish data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-driven data solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, and implementation.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data integration.
  • Experience designing enterprise data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, performance optimization, and data engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills., * Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect or related Snowflake certifications.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Modern Data Platform architectures.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML platform integration and data science workflows.
  • Experience with data governance, master data management, and metadata management tools.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
