Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a modern cloud-based application while supporting ongoing enterprise initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a backend-focused engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, and AWS who enjoys designing scalable, high-performance applications. Qualified candidates who meet the required technical criteria will be prioritized for the interview process., * Design and develop a new cloud-native application using Java, Spring, and AWS technologies.
- Support and enhance existing enterprise applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the development team., * Develop and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based applications.
- Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code.
- Deploy and support applications within AWS environments using Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, and EKS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for application design.
- Perform code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support application deployments, testing, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern development tools and practices to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework
- Proven experience developing enterprise-level backend applications
- Solid knowledge of AWS Cloud services, including EC2, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL for database development and optimization
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based applications
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate in an Agile environment
